CHRISTMAS CALENDAR!
It seems crazy to think about, but Christmas is right around the corner! And we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate this season with our church family! We’ve planned some festive fun this month, and we would love for you to plan to participate with us as much as you can. So here’s a look at our schedule of festivities:

12.01 – Christmas Sweater Sunday
Let’s kick off the season by wearing our Christmas best – the best sweater, that is! Don your most colorful, tacky, “ugly”, or festive sweater, and see if you win the title of “best sweater” as decided by our very own Christmas Kyle!

12.08 – Angel Tree Sunday
Our Angel Tree will be available in the Grace Raleigh lobby beginning Sunday, November 17th, through Sunday, December 8th. It is a wonderful opportunity to serve others locally and internationally, helping to make Christmas a little bit brighter for children and families here in Raleigh and abroad! Let’s load up the lobby with gifts and serve as many families as we can, culminating on this Angel Tree Sunday!

12.15 – Joyful Noise Sunday
Our very own Grace Kids are going to take the stage and share their voices with us to spread a little Christmas cheer on this special Sunday!

12.22 – Holiday Hoot & Christmas Jammies Sunday
HOO doesn’t love a good Christmas party?! We’re going to fire up the ol’ blackstones, make pancakes and bacon, have a short devotion while we eat, and finish up with some Christmas carols. Bring your favorite breakfast dish or side, and join us at 10AM for this Holiday Hootenanny! AAAND what better way to enjoy a big breakfast spread than in your cozy Christmas pajamas? We would love for all of our folks and families to come dressed in your Christmas jammies – the matchier the better! You won’t want to miss this fun Sunday!

12.24 – Christmas Eve at Grace
We hope you can join us on Christmas Eve! We’ll have services at 3:30 & 5:00pm. Childcare will be available for infants through Pre-K. (If you need childcare, please register HERE so we’ll know which service you plan to attend and can plan accordingly with our volunteers.) Our Grace Kids who are in Kindergarten and older will get to join us in the service! We hope you can join us on this special day – we’ll enjoy a hot chocolate bar, coffee, cider, and a wonderful time celebrating together!

12.29 – No Sunday Services
We traditionally do not have services on the final Sunday of the year. As it falls this year, we will not have Sunday service on December 29th. Enjoy this time of celebration (and hopefully some rest) with your family and friends, and we hope to see you back at Grace on Sunday, January 5th!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

THERE’S AN APP FOR THAT!

You can now download our church app! We’re excited to provide a way for you to stay connected and have easy access to things like streaming our services, viewing and registering for upcoming events, messaging with your small group, managing your serving schedule, and more – all in one place! You can download the app HERE to get started.

WE NEED A NEW VOLUNTEER!
For nearly 20 years, a faithful volunteer has cleaned the church every week – rain, wind, or shine. But that faithful volunteer is officially retiring from duty, which means we need a new volunteer to help clean the church on Friday or Saturday of each week. So if you’ve got time during your week, and you’d like to contribute a bit of that time to Grace, we could greatly use you! Please email Julie Sauls if you’re interested, and she will get you some additional information.

OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT NORTH RALEIGH MINISTRIES

One of our local ministry partners, North Raleigh Ministries, recently opened a new food pantry and crisis center. Thank you all again for helping to support this ministry, as we recently delivered 86 jars of peanut butter & jelly to the new food pantry! You can continue to help support the food pantry in two ways – volunteering and dropping off donations. You can also support NRM by donating items to their two thrift shops (2821 Brentwood Rd. & 9650 Strickland Rd. Suite 161). You can find more information about volunteering, donation collection hours, items needed, and other details HERE.

ARE YOU INTERESTED IN JOINING A SERVICE TEAM?
One of the many ways you can partner with us is through serving. Service Teams are the teams of volunteers that make Grace go! Everything that happens at Grace would be impossible without our volunteers. Click HERE to check out our teams and see where you can get plugged in!

GRACE RALEIGH WORSHIP PLAYLIST
Click HERE to check out a Spotify playlist (and HERE for an Amazon Music playlist) of some of our favorite songs to worship with here at Grace – some will be familiar and some are new songs we’ll be worshipping to in the future. We hope this will be a fun and impactful way for us to connect and worship together – not just on Sundays!
