Everything that happens at Grace would be impossible without volunteers. We need help teaching children, holding babies, greeting people, playing instruments and so much more! Service teams are the teams of volunteers that make Grace go. Different churches have different ways to serve. Here are ours:
These are the smiling faces that greet people as they walk in (greeters), hand people a bulletin and help them find a seat (ushers), or prepare a great cup of coffee for everyone before the service (coffee team).
These folks do everything from hold babies so parents can sit in the service in peace to teaching a lesson to 4th and 5th graders. If you love kids, we would love to have you partner with us here!
There may be no more vital time in life than the years spent in middle school and high school. We need people to lead small groups, help with events, and help us with our weekly service.
Worship and Production
We are always looking for more talented people to be a part of our band! We also welcome people who want to help with sound, lights, camera operation, or run the computer.
These are our prayer warriors. The members of the prayer team make sure that every need and prayer request in the church gets covered in prayer every week.
When someone is in the hospital, has a baby, experiences loss, or just has a need, this team of behind the scenes heroes rallies around them to give them the care they require.
Whenever we have a big event at the church or just feel like all hanging out and eating food (which is often!), we call these people to action to organize, provide, and serve food.
Whether serving a breakfast to the faculty of a school, helping to execute a community service project, or even coming up with new ways to serve the community, the Mission Volunteer Partners are our front line of service.
These brave souls stand in the lobby during the service and keep a vigilant eye on the church. In case of an emergency, medical or otherwise, these folks are our first responders.
