05.04 – RISE AGAINST HUNGER EVENT
We’re excited to once again serve one of our local ministry partners, Rise Against Hunger. Through this unique service opportunity, we aim to package over 15,000 meals. These meals will be distributed through RAH’s global partners that support school feeding programs, orphanages, health clinics, vocational training, and respond to crises. This event is open to everyone, age 5 and up. You can register HERE!
05.12 – CHILD DEDICATIONS
On Mother’s Day, May 12th, we’ll have our next Child Dedication Sunday. This is a special time where parents can bring their children, of all ages, before the Lord and before the church, professing their commitment to make their child’s relationship with Jesus their priority and asking the church to support them in this journey. If you are interested in making that commitment with your child(ren), please click HERE. CALLING ALL PARTNERS!
Spring has sprung, and Grace Kids has been growing! This means we need some extra hands to help with our littles – everything from rocking babies so moms and dads can go to “big church”, to hanging out with our 4th & 5th graders and building relationships. There’s something for everyone! If volunteering with our Grace Kids seems intimidating, or is something that you’ve thought about doing but have just been putting off, we encourage you to reach out to Erin Winston or one of our other GK volunteers – you might’ve seen them around rocking the blue baseball shirts! All we ask is that you give it a try, and trust us to help find the right fit for you to serve in Grace Kids.
MISSION TRIP THIS FALL
As most of you know, every year we go down to Reynosa, Mexico to serve with one of our great ministry partners, Faith Ministry. We have been serving along side them for over 20 years, have great friendships with the people of Faith Ministry and Reynosa, and can’t wait to go see them again this October. The dates for our mission trip this year are Saturday, October 12 – Sunday, October 20. If you’ve never been, it’s an incredible opportunity to see what God is doing in another cultural context, and you will come back having fallen in love with the people and the ministry in Reynosa.
