“Love one another as I have loved you” (John 15:12)

As Christ demonstrated his love for us through the gospel, so we are also called to love one another. Relationship with the Father and relationship with each other is foundational to a strong and loving community. One of the greatest expressions of love to one another is to carry each other’s burdens, and we do this through care.

“Bear one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ” (Galatians 6:2)

The Care Ministry at Grace Raleigh is built on three pillars:

Pastoral Care is spiritual and emotional care offered specifically by a pastor to individuals, couples, and families and falls into two broad categories – crisis care and pastoral counseling. If you need pastoral care, please call the church office at 919.862.8521.

Stephen Ministry is a one-on-one caring ministry for people going through a wide range of ministry needs – grief, divorce, unemployment, hospitalization, loneliness, spiritual crisis, financial stress, terminal illness, relocation, long-term disability, and countless other life difficulties. Stephen Ministers are lay people trained specifically to listen and to walk alongside you.

Small Groups provide a smaller, more intimate way to connect with others and to experience community, spiritual growth and mutual care.  Small groups are the place where we have the privilege to both share with and help carry the joys and sorrows, celebrations and struggles that each of us encounters in our lives.
